Philanthropy Events
Anchor Games
Our hallmark annual philanthropy event is Anchor Games, which raises money for Service for Sight. In 2025, Eta Phi raised over $10,000 for Service for Sight!
Goalball
We are also very grateful to have the opportunity to be involved with our philanthropy on a weekly basis! Every Sunday, we volunteer with the New York Association for Blind Athletes, assisting with scorekeeping and operations at their Goalball games. Goalball is a sport created specifically for the blind and visually impaired, where two teams of three players try to throw a ball with bells inside into the opponent's goal. The bells assist the players in hearing the ball as it moves.
Goalball Sundays have become a huge part of our chapter identity and bond, and we are proud to be so actively involved with our chapter philanthropy.
New York Dance Marathon
In addition to our chapter philanthropy, all Panhellenic sororities participate in supporting the New York Dance Marathon (NYDM), which raises money for childhood cancer. Funds raised support the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, which provides financial and emotional assistance to families of children with cancer. We love our chapter's B+ Hero, Yesenia!
